Chalkboards are a type of hazard found within the classrooms and waking floors. They hang on walls and remain stationary. Initially chalkboards will depict two crudely drawn hands with an empty space between them. After that a sun will be drawn in that empty space, which will quickly turn into a smiling face. When the hands wiggle, it will signal that a shot is about to be fired. They will then repeat the cycle. Chalkboards fire a big white projectile that will travel the full length of the screen until it collides with another object, (a wall or a prop). Chalkboards will shoot even if there are no enemies around. There are a few types of challenge rooms that use chalkboards. Chalkboards also appear in the "Some Harmless Markings" boss fight, where they also can spawn chalk clouds.
